This story starts in late July of this year, a long time ago now, but a story that I was recently reminded of by Neil (http://yetanothergin.co.uk/) and thought I was time that I paid it another visit. So late July, the winners of the International Wine and Spirits Competition 2010 were announced and there was a bit of a shock for everyone as a new gin was awarded gold and shared the best in class award with Beefeater 24, Gin Mare plus others.
