drinkslink.co.uk is the brainchild from working long hours in the hospitality industry, constantly learning, and meeting new and interesting people with great ideas and opinions.

I have spent a number of years now (too many some would say!) stood behind a bar serving customers drinks. I’ve been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to go on numerous courses, and take part in even more tastings.

From these instances I have grown quite a little passion for a number of topics in this field, and have decided it is about time to pass some of this knowledge on.

So over time, you can expect comments on drinks history, bars, and especially a good bottle or two! I have grown a particular fascination and respect to the artisan producers of today, the one’s that work on small quanitities, with love, affection and more importantly an amazing final product.

If you’re lucky, we will also get the odd update from friends that I have made over the years too, including my knowledgable wife Sam.

We are also now offering a bespoke service to producers and consumers to organise and host tasting events, so drop us a line if you’re interested.
